Why I Photograph Doors

Wherever I travel, I’m drawn to photograph doors. They’re more than entrances—they’re thresholds brimming with possibility, hinting at the stories within. I see doors as the first touchpoint with the architecture, where hand meets handle, and curiosity meets reality. Their colors, textures, and details offer a glimpse of the interior’s soul, while they stand as guardians, protecting the heart of a place from the world outside.
